Part of the recently redeveloped Hatfield Tap, Tap2 is a dedicated events space catering for live music, spoken word, comedy, club nights and anything else that can utilise a 250 capacity, self contained, fully licensed events space! With substantial 2.2kw PA, including state of the art digital sound connectivity, fully programmable computer controlled Chauvet stage lighting, and complete frontline and stage monitoring, Tap2 is able to offer an excellent sound and visual experience for artists and gig-goers. With transport links direct from London (under 25 minutes by train from Kings X to Hatfield) and a short cab/bus ride from the station to the venue, Tap2 makes for an excellent addition to out-of-London options. Since redevelopment, Hatfield Tap has enjoyed welcoming a diverse and vibrant crowd, including students from University of Herts campus, which is a two minute walk from the venue. As well as Hatfield itself, close by St. Albans and Welwyn Garden City provide added catchment to the venue. Hatfield Tap also serves a Social Specialist menu, with daily selected food offers, served from noon to 9pm which can also be served in Tap2. As well as all-standing shows, Tap2 can be configured to seat up to 150 people for more intimate events.
