SUB89 is an underground club and live music venue in Reading. Opening in October 2009 with a live show from Chase and Status, the venue has covered aspects of live music, comedy and clubnights. Some of the acts to grace the SUB89 stage are Gary Numan, 2manydj’s, Babyshambles, Bad Manners, Napalm Death, Subfocus, DJ Fresh, Buzzcocks, New Model Army, Nero, Adam Ant, The Beat, Ed Sheeran, Skindred and many more. The venue is able to accommodate a wide range of international touring acts as well as striving to support the local music scene that Reading has to offer.
