STACK is a multipurpose leisure venue made from shipping containers or housed in large, repurposed retail units. Each exciting venue offers a tasty mix of independent street food traders and a vibrant programme of events and live entertainment. The central plaza area is the heart and soul of the operation. With communal bench style seating surrounded by the bars and street food units with a large stage and giant screen as the focal point, which is programmed with daily entertainment throughout the year. STACK Newcastle opened in August 2018 and was a huge success attracting over 3million visitors in the four years it was open. Although the temporary scheme closed in May 2022, STACK will be returning to Newcastle bigger and better in a permanent location which combines indoor and outdoor space at Worswick Chambers. The site is currently being developed and is planned to open in late 2024. STACK Seaburn opened on Sunderland’s magnificent coastline in September 2020 and since then has attracted over a million visitors. The venue is popular with families, foodies and revelers looking for a festival atmosphere every weekend. Danieli Leisure have exciting and aggressive plans to grow the STACK brand. Development is underway on a STACK in Lincoln and there are sites proposed for Middlesbrough, Durham, Carlisle, and Bishop Auckland with more in the pipeline.
