St. Michael's fortress On the fortress you can see that it was constructed between the 13th and 18th century but most of it dates back from the 15th/16th century. According to its layout , it is an irregular square. On the eastern side of the fortress there are 2 square towers and on the northern side there are 2 polygonal towers. The main gothic entrance is on the eastern side. Inside the fortress there are 2 water tanks, which were used by the soldiers. The other necessary chambers like bedrooms, storages and similar rooms are not preserved. St Michael's church, dating back as far as the 12th century, was inside the fortress.
