St.Leonard's is a working Church of England lead by Revd. Paul Turp. It is not only a place of weekly worship, it also serves the diverse communities of the Shoreditch neighborhood. It runs social projects including a residential unit for those who need a roof and security in times of hardship and a community garden in the church grounds. St.Leonard's roots go back to roman times, with the current building being erected in the 18th century. In the 1990's the church was renovated to its current form. With paint being sacrificed for resources needed by its community, the church still shows is history.
