Simian is a hybrid institutional / artist-run space located in an architecturally unique, subterranean space with ceiling windows and wide open rooms. Simian encompasses two separate exhibition spaces of 610 and 165m2, along with production facilities and a combined office- and event room. The particular location of Simian in a newly conceived area of Copenhagen called Ørestad, resonates by various means into our exhibition program, which consists of 6-8 exhibitions a year, by local and international artists
