Porter’s is a funny old place Winner of the inaugural Cardiff Life Awards 2014 and voted a National Runner-Up and Number One in Wales in the Observer’s ‘‘Best Place to Drink’’ category 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, one might call us a ‘hidden gem’. Porter’s Cardiff first opened it’s doors in 2012. We are a versatile performance space, prioritising inclusivity, free entry, and a diverse range of live events. We wholeheartedly support Wales’ creative community, and our dedication to this has cultivated a devoted following. Porter’s had to relocate to a new premises in 2024 but continues to be a beacon of creativity and a safe, brave, vibrant and welcoming space to all.
