Inspired by the Hawaiian word “pono” — meaning harmony and natural balance — the venue was built using reclaimed materials that reflect Ballard’s industrial heritage, including a historic 1903 steam crane that still stands as part of our outdoor patio. What began as a passion project quickly became one of Ballard’s most unique gathering places.
