Bideford's premier grassroots music venue located on Lower Gunstone Road. With a capacity of 250, our intimate setting offers an up-close and personal live music experience. We host gigs most Fridays and Saturdays, showcasing a mix of local talent and touring acts. Our well-established Jam Night every Tuesday invites musicians of all levels to collaborate and perform in a supportive environment. The Palladium Club boasts a rich history. It began in 1919 as the stables for the Heavitree Inn and was transformed into the Palladium Cinema in 1926. Over the years, it served as a Gentlemen’s Club and later became the home of the SWEB Social Club, eventually evolving into the vibrant music venue it is today. In 2023, we relocated the bar to the back, increasing our capacity and enhancing the overall experience for our guests while maintaining our unique atmosphere. Parking is conveniently available within a 5-minute walk, with car parks on The Quay, Bridge Street, and The Pill, as well as on-road parking on the High Street.
