The Norla Dome is a unique and impressive venue with natural lighting and extraordinary acoustics that make it a destination venue for both creative practitioners and curious patrons alike. Originally designed as a gymnasium for seafarers, the Norla Dome is a feature of the heritage-listed Mission to Seafarers. Available for theatre and music performances, functions, exhibitions, product launches, filming, and all manner of public events. Seats 120+ people for an in-the-round performance, and up to 140 people for a standing celebration. The original exposed brick forms the surrounding walls, while the towering concrete dome measures 17m in diameter and creates a ceiling with great impact. Live music and site-specific performances or installations work especially well in this one-of-a-kind extraordinary space.
