If you wanted to meet someone, you did it by dancing, looking into their eyes. We didn't need dating apps or filters to pretend to be something we weren't. Today, our minds no longer imagine a better world; endless scrolling makes us desire lives we will never achieve. And you can see it on the dance floor: few people look at each other and many people have their phones in their hands. What have we lost? There used to be mystery in clubs. There were exchanged glances, impromptu hugs, conversations that started without fear. We were part of something bigger than ourselves. What do we propose? We want to bring back what made the dance floor a unique place. We want to return to real eye contact and real encounters. Fewer screens, more closed eyes dancing as if it were the last time.
