Lasipalatsi Square Lasipalatsi Square is one of Helsinki’s most central, iconic, and photographed urban spaces—an exciting venue for vibrant open-air events. This unique 1,300 m² area is available for a wide range of public happenings, from brief pop-ups to multi-day festivals. The square features two terrace zones, a covered stage, a tall chimney structure, and five dome-like installations with concrete surfaces. Ideal for small markets, live concerts, outdoor screenings, product launches, and promotional events, Lasipalatsi Square offers a lively, urban backdrop in the middle of the city. Most of the square is rented out as an empty area, allowing organizers to bring in their own event structures and equipment. While terrace areas include limited serving rights, the rest of the square does not. Lasipalatsi Square is primarily used for public events and can be closed off for ticketed occasions a few times a year.
