Once one of the city's most popular music venues – having played host to the likes of Oasis, the Libertines and Shooglenifty before it was destroyed in a blazing fire in 2002 – La Belle Angele has made its triumphant return from the ashes. Finding its new home underneath a large city hotel, their digs as of their their summer 2014 reopening sees them in a slightly bigger venue capacity of around 550.
