The building was originally constructed as part of a former hospital complex – the former Clinic of Internal Diseases in Kraków – and is now part of an ongoing project to adapt the space for cultural purposes. The auditorium is intended for artistic, educational, and creative events, and is one of the key, unconventional venues used by Unsound Festival to fulfill its mission of expanding the boundaries of music, fostering dialogue between sound, space, and audience, and presenting interdisciplinary events in unexpected, unique settings.
