Opening in 1994 in a San Francisco Firehouse as a Local Hangout & Music Venue, Kilowatt found it's way to being a neighborhood bar. After 3 years as a punk/rock/indie showcase, and the original home to San Francisco’s annual Noise Pop Festival, the hard decision was made to convert the stage into a Darts area given the changing demographics of the neighborhood and its clientele, adding televisions for local sports, pool tables and more… Now under new ownership, the music is on its way back with weekly live music shows and dj nights featuring your favorite local and touring acts, tasty craft brews, an amazing assortment of liquor and your favorite neighborhood bartenders and friends bringing the party back to 16th Street…
