Since the venues inception, in 1993, Joshua Brooks has stood at the forefront of Manchesters ever burgeoning music scene, having originally played host to the Chemical Brothers first residency in the rainy city. Over the years the venue has welcomed some of the biggest names in the worlds house & techno to the cosy confines of its bare brick basement, along side more up and coming names. 2014 saw an overhaul of the club sound system and general ethos, with a brand new state of the art Void Airmotion V2 system installed and a new booking policy aimed towards in house events focusing on the eclectic sides of electronic music.
