Hotel Cecil is a venue in central Copenhagen, close to Gråbrødre Torv. It presents a variety of shows within different music genres, and the 350 capacity concert hall also presents film screenings, talks, comedy, live podcasts, etc. The ground floor bar is open from 18.00 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from Sunday – Wednesday the bar is open when there is show on the programme. We serve a wide range of beer, wine and cocktails – with a special focus on local products, such as Danish beer, vodka, blackcurrant liquor and cherry wine of high quality. The bar in the ground floor is open every day, and you can enjoy your drinks in the exclusive art deco-surroundings, whether you are attending a concert or not. Hotel Cecil opened in February 2018 (it is located in a building that was used to present primarily jazz) and is named after a hotel of the same name, which was located on the same address in Niels Hemmingsens Gade, when the historic building opened in 1937. Hotel Cecil is run by the people also running Bremen Teater.
