Herman's Bar is in the Wentworth Building at the University of Sydney, on the corner of City Road and Butlin Avenue in Darlington. Hermann’s has established itself as a unique and sought after club and live music venue. It features a top notch in house production, a large courtyard which allows a lot of flexibility in venue set ups and event capacities, and is in a perfect position on City Road close to Newtown and the inner city. Capacity The capacity of the inside of Hermann’s Bar is 290. Most events will also use a section of the courtyard next to the main venue entrance that can generally accommodate 50 – 100 more patrons. The size of this outside area can be increased to accommodate more than this number in some cases.
