Heesterveld Creative Community Foundation was established to stimulate and facilitate creativity, collaboration and cultural entrepreneurship in the Heesterveld neighborhood in Amsterdam Bijlmer. Consisting of a group of creative residents from all kinds of disciplines, the incubator focuses on making a contribution to the living environment in the neighborhood and the city, based on everyone's own artistic strength. The aim is to inspire and to create a climate of growth and creation, in order to make Heesterveld the cultural epicenter of the Bijlmermeer. This is done by all members of the community, directed and carried out in working groups and from a board with residents and professionals from the cultural field.
