Opened in May 2016, Headquarters is an underground music venue tucked away in the underbelly of Boat Quay. Now the home base for The Council’s shenanigans, the space has become a haven for punters to discover the underground sounds. The infamous cage has also hosted international acts such as Gerd Janson, Rebekah, TIN MAN, Peggy Gou, DJ Boring and Rampue, and provided a platform for regional elites like Mendy Indigo and Sunju Hargun to shine. Step into the no-frills space with a bar on one end of the room, red lasers, and an old-school Donkey Kong arcade machine, that has since become home to a community of music lovers with a keen ear for all manner of house, techno & disco ditties.
