The Godesburg - steadfast for 800 years
Godesburg Castle was built 800 years ago on an extinct volcano.
This ground, which once breathed fire, gave it strength and energy for the course of history. The mountain was first mentioned in a document in 722 as Wotansberg. There is also evidence of a Roman settlement in an altar stone walled into the Godesburg.
Then, after repeated reconstruction measures in 2003, a breath of fresh air blew through the now barrier-free castle. Marion Hauck is the name of today's castle tenant. She offers her customers a very special event location with modern premises, perfect service and a heart in the right place. In symbiosis of design and hospitable warmth, the kitchen and cellar offer delicacies that tickle the senses. Weddings also take place here regularly.
Well-known companies and private individuals feel at home during company celebrations, à la carte kitchen delicacies or Sunday brunch and breathe in the history, combined with the wonderful view over the Rhine Valley.
