In the heart of Schillerkiez, on the beautiful round Herrfurthplatz along the Schillerpromenade, stands the Genezareth Church. Since 2021, it has been home to Startbahn, an innovative project of the Protestant Church, launched with the vision of restoring churches to their role as vibrant centers of neighborhood life. Startbahn seeks to offer, above all, a space open to people of every gender, nationality, sexual orientation, and faith.
