Descripción

De Kasteelhoeve is a historic, 18th-century, well-preserved square farmstead, replacing the original neerhof of Outrijve Castle. The farm buildings of the present Kasteelhoeve are grouped around a cobbled yard. The former demolished castle of Outrijve with accompanying neerhof (farmstead) was located in a meander of the Scheldt that still forms the border with Hainaut (the village of Celles) today. The current Castle Farm was built on the land of the demolished Outrijve castle. In 1938, the French count ‘de Nicolay de Paris’ sold the farm to Charles Moerman, the father of the current owner, and since 1991 the Kasteelhoeve has been available for rent for all kinds of parties and events. The site covers a total of 30 ha with farmland, meadows, a spacious private car park and a beautiful garden. Together with the Tombeelmolen and the Sint Pieterskerkje, this farmstead is part of the Outrijve's historical patrimony.
