COOP wishes to contribute to a fair, free and just society. This declaration has a particular resonance in the canal districts of Brussels, given the social and economic difficulties faced by the local population. COOP enables everyone to gain a better understanding of how these neighbourhoods developed, what the social, economic and cultural issues are today, and to imagine the roles they can play to become active citizens in the future. Experimenting with active teaching methods and practical group workshops are designed to develop a spirit of cooperation and initiative among visitors. These are aimed at children, schools and associations. COOP is a tool available to associations, schools and groups with positive plans for the future of the canal districts. This approach to co-programming and cooperation within COOP means we can put all the chances on our side!
