The Grotowski Institute's Center for Performing Arts is located at 62 Księcia Witolda Street, in the former garrison bakery building in Kępa Mieszczańska (now Piekarnia Żywa Kultura). The 600 m2 studio space is equipped with professional theater systems: lighting, sound, multimedia, and stage, including state-of-the-art video mapping equipment. The Center for Performing Arts also has a 140 m2 foyer. The movable seating system, with up to 400 seats, allows for any arrangement of the studio space so that up to 2-3 events can take place simultaneously, such as theater performances, music events (e.g., classical and jazz concerts), conferences, lectures, or industry events.
