A comfortable yet simple space, ample yet uncomplicated, with a powerful sound system, special lighting by audiovisual artists, efficient queuing organization and cashless system. These are some of the aspects that we can find in CAOS club, a recently-inaugurated club for the enthusiastic house and techno audience from Campinas city and around (Brazil). The same minds behind another traditional underground club in town (Club 88) revitalized an industrial warehouse in the largest city of the countryside of São Paulo state and, since its opening on December 2017, Caos brought performances by artists such as Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig, Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettmann, Marco Carola, Recondite, Guy J, Ryan Elliott, Efdemin and L_cio. The club also presents ocasional projects like Groove Urbano (hip-hop nights) and the Caotica party (directed to the LGBT audience). Sustaining quality instead of quantity, the club does not open very often. Its general proposal is to bring artists who could hardly perform at other clubs in the area, especially those who did not fit in Club 88's cozy, small art-nouveau rooms. The audience often goes on dancing until 10 a.m., duo to the club's location, an easy-to-access industrial area. Caos intends to create a definitive experience outside São Paulo's capital city grounds and has been helping to develop the region as a new nightlife metropolis.
