The Alto is a bar located in the Pinheiros neighborhood in São Paulo. Designed to be a hybrid of a high-end cocktail bar and a live music venue, we faced the challenge of translating these characteristics into a versatile and practical visual identity for the day-to-day communication of the venue. "Alto" means "high" in Portuguese, which is why the typography of the logo has this distortion. It refers to loud music and also references the architecture of the house, which has multiple levels, stairs, and bleachers. --- O Alto é um bar localizado no bairro de Pinheiros, em São Paulo. Criado para ser um híbrido de Bar de alta coquetelaria e casa de shows, nós tivemos o desafio de traduzir essas características numa identidade visual versátil e prática para a comunicação do dia-a-dia da casa.​​​​​​​ bar restaurant Logo Design concert music visual identity Brand Design identity live music Nightlife One of the starting points was to create versatile layouts that would help highlight the featured attraction of the night, combined with a drink selected by the house mixologist. The layout is based on a grid, where the colors are chosen according to the elements in the recipe of the drink of the night. This way, we found a way to combine the drink with the music and always generate a different layout. --- Um dos pontos de partida foi criar layouts versáteis, que ajudariam a destacar a atração da noite, combinado a um drink escolhido pela mixologista da casa. O Layout é baseado num grid, onde as cores são escolhidas de acordo com os elementos da receita do drink da noite.
