On January 26, 1984, the complex was included in the State Register of Historical and Cultural Monuments of local significance in Alma-Ata. On November 10, 2010, a new State Register of Historical and Cultural Monuments of local significance in Almaty was approved, replacing all previous listings. Within this resolution, the complex retained its статус as a monument of local significance. The boundaries of its protected zones were officially established in 2014.
