Weval presents: CLUB CHOROPHOBIA

After a previous visit to the Bemuurde Weerd ten years ago, Weval returns to EKKO on October 10 for a special edition of their club concept CLUB CHOROPHOBIA. While the Amsterdam duo previously took to the EKKO stage for a live show, this time they’ll be behind the decks for an exclusive all-nighter. Expect an evening where a fear of dancing is definitely not an issue. Together, Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte-Albers make up the electronic music duo Weval. Known for their cinematic, emotionally layered productions, they have built an impressive career in the Netherlands and beyond over the past decade or so. With their latest album, Chorophobia, they fully embrace the dance floor: fast BPMs, unexpected breaks, and driving basslines make it their most danceable record to date. Following previous CLUB CHOROPHOBIA nights in London, Paris, and Berlin, Weval bring their intimate club concept to EKKO this October.
