-DVDE- (House of Underground from FR) Between the streets of Paris and the hills of Lisbon, Samy better known as DVDE (pronounced D.V.D.E) has built a sound that never stays in one place. Running the labels House of Underground and Operation Madness, he crafts a sonic world where house, acid-house, minimal, electro, and the groove of funk/disco seamlessly collide. A resident on Rinse France, he is known for his refined selections and deep love for vinyl, a passion that runs through both his mixing and his production. Drawing heavy inspiration from the sounds of Detroit and Chicago, he shapes a distinctive sonic identity that's entirely his own. Over the past few years, DVDE has brought his sound to clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond, with performances at Panorama Bar, Waking Life, Rex Club, among others, as well as tours across Asia and Latin America. On the production side, he has followed the same upward trajectory since the release of his debut EP "Ultralucid Paris" in 2023, a strongly supported project including a collaboration track with acclaimed Rush Hour and Perlon producer San Proper.
