TransPennine Xpress Christmas Shindig

Is NYE overpriced and overrated? Do you get bored in the period straight after Christmas leading into NYE? Well, we have just the ticket. TransPennine Xpress is rolling into one of Leeds’ most illustrious venues - the Howard Assembly Room. Connected to Leeds Grand Theatre and operated by Opera North, the venue is steeped in history. Dating back to 1878, the space spent almost a century as a cinema before in 2019 being beautifully restored - combining its barrel-vaulted Victorian Gothic splendour with contemporary design. We’ve been given the opportunity to take over this incredible space for a very special one off event. Upstairs in the Assembly Room, disco don Greg Wilson joins hosts and TX residents PBR Streetgang. Downstairs, the HAR Bar becomes our pre party from 4pm, hosted by the Lightly Battered crew, while in-house East Asian street food gurus, YUZU will be serving a special menu created for the occasion until 6pm.
