The Field (Live)

The Field redefined electronic dance music with his euphoric, wall-of-sound productions on Kompakt. 2027 will mark 20 years since his landmark 2007 debut album From Here We Go Sublime, a masterpiece that became the best-reviewed record of the year and remains a touchstone for modern electronic music. The Field is the acclaimed ambient techno moniker of Swedish producer Axel Willner. Blending a teenage background in punk and moshpits with a passion for pop micro-sampling, classic shoegaze, and ambient drone, Willner crafts hypnotic, looping soundscapes anchored by steady minimal beats.
