When we come together to celebrate community-born sounds, we have the ability to forge and establish memories. Stories that prevail in our minds. Stories that we remember through the music. Stories that no one can take away. The repetition of creating these stories solidifies present into history, history into community and community into bonds. The repetition is key: it’s not just a single event, but the ritual of coming together again and again that transforms fleeting moments into something permanent.
