His sound moves naturally between classic and contemporary electronic music, creating sets that constantly shift shape while remaining deeply cohesive. With releases on labels such as Innervisions and Correspondant, and appearances in clubs across the world, he has built a reputation as one of the most unpredictable and captivating selectors around. Skatman is not the kind of DJ who gives people what they expect — his sets jump across genres and tempos, connecting unlikely sounds into something surprisingly fluid and hypnotic. BINARY DIGIT (Postal Code Records, WeMe Records) Driven by an endless fascination with synthesizers and computer music technologies, Binary Digit crafts immersive sonic journeys where raw energy meets emotional depth. Over the past decade he has released albums, EPs, and collaborations on labels including Opal Tapes, WeMe, Dream Ticket, and Zeitnot, steadily carving out a unique voice within the underground electronic landscape. In 2021 he launched his own imprint, continuing to explore forward-thinking and experimental sounds without compromise. RICARDO BAEZ (Running Back / Permanent Vacation) Ricardo Baez has been surrounded by music his entire life. From his father’s collection of blues and jazz records to the 80s pop tapes his Venezuelan mother used during dance classes, his musical background naturally evolved into something eclectic and deeply personal. That spirit became Tropical Animals, the legendary Florence party he has hosted weekly since 2010, widely considered one of the driving forces behind the evolution of modern Italian club culture. His sets are impossible to box into a single genre: playful, emotional, technically sharp, and always full of unexpected turns.
