More than just a parachute and ambience artisan, Christian Parchuke returns to open the floor after he completely stunned us with his debut Refuge set. AMIT_ AMIT is a pioneering UK-based music artist, composer, and producer renowned for reshaping the boundaries of electronic music. Over nearly two decades, he has forged a distinctive sonic identity by fusing Drum and Bass with Asian, Middle Eastern, dub, and techno influences earning critical acclaim and a loyal international following. After studying Music Technology at Thames Valley University, AMIT released his debut album Never Ending in 2006 to widespread praise. His follow-up, 9 Times (2011), further cemented his reputation as one of electronic music’s most original voices. Often credited with helping to create a new subgenre within Drum and Bass, his work has influenced a generation of artists and led to releases on influential labels such as Metalheadz, Commercial Suicide, Tempa, Tru Thoughts, Ninja Tune, 31 Records, and EXIT Records. In 2013, AMIT launched his own imprint, AMAR a platform for boundary-pushing music that reflects his commitment to artistic independence and creative community-building. The label has released both his own projects and music from like-minded contemporaries. AMIT's genre-defying vision took a bold turn with his Electronic Orchestra project, developed in 2009 through B3 Media’s Powerlab Scheme. With guidance from Massive Attack’s Neil Davidge, he reimagined his track “MK Ultra” as a full orchestral score, blurring the lines between electronic production and classical composition. His discography features standout tracks like “Gatecrasher,” “Village Folk,” and “Roots,” as well as notable collaborations with vocalist RANI on “Stay With Me” and “You Look Better Dead.” BBC Radio listeners have consistently recognised AMIT’s work, voting him into top-five categories for Best Single and Best Producer. Outside the studio, AMIT has supported legendary acts like Sonic Youth and collaborated with acclaimed producer Bill Laswell on the global Inamorata project, alongside artists including Iggy Pop, Mike Patton, and Toshinori Kondo. His compositional talents also extend to film, with scores for several award winning productions. Furthering his dedication to the craft, AMIT runs Audio Science Online—a music technology platform where he and fellow professionals mentor and share knowledge with the next generation of artists.
