RA UNLOCKED Promoters x 6AM Group (free promoter program)

RA UNLOCKED: Promoters x 6AM Group launch a free two-day programme for anyone who wants to start throwing parties in LA but isn’t sure where to begin. Resident Advisor and 6AM Group are bringing together LA promoters, artists and industry professionals for two days of talks, demos and workshops covering: Event concept development Budgeting and venues Sound system fundamentals Operations and harm reduction Talent booking Audience building and marketing Ticketing Participants will also receive a budget template, example artist agreements and a list of SoCal production crews. Lunch and refreshments are provided. There are 50 places. No prior experience is needed. Priority goes to applicants who can attend both days and to applicants from groups underrepresented in electronic music. Applications close Sunday, November 15th. Selected applicants will be notified by Friday, November 20th. Please apply via the link. This initiative forms part of RA's 25th anniversary programme. Between now and December, we'll be touching down with workshops, talks and fundraisers in New York, Mexico City, Dublin, Kampala, Paris, Berlin, Los Angeles, Eora (Sydney) and Rio de Janeiro, alongside continued community partnerships with Underground Music Academy in Detroit and Cape Town's Bridges for Music.
