Piedicavallo Festival

Piedicavallo Festival is a small-scale festival of experimental music and performance, held at 1,037 metres in a mountain village of around 170 inhabitants, where the Alta Valle Cervo ends and the Alpine ridges begin. Rather than occupying a single site, the festival follows the geography of the village: the banks of the Cervo stream, a historic theatre, the Waldensian church, paths, woods, clearings and narrow streets. Its limited capacity keeps the experience intimate, allowing live acts, DJ sets, performances, sound walks and workshops to remain in close dialogue with the landscape and the local community. Here, the setting is never just a backdrop: water, weather, architecture and village rhythms actively shape how the festival is made, heard and shared.
