As the founder of the legendary Club Shelter, he helped create one of the world's most respected dancefloors, where music, community and culture came together every week. His influence can still be felt across clubs and dancefloors around the world today. Known for his marathon sets, Timmy takes his time behind the decks. Blending house with soul, disco, gospel, jazz and Afro rhythms, he creates a journey that builds throughout the night. Every set is different, shaped by the room and the people on the dancefloor. Alongside his DJ career, Timmy has also played an important role in the music industry, working in A&R for major record labels including Atlantic, Motown and MCA. He has helped shape the careers of many artists and remixed music for names such as Sade, Janet Jackson, Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey.
