Nu Jazz Nu Jazz is a 6-piece interference comprised of members whose aesthetic backgrounds are as disparate as they are complementary. The band is Dan Orlowski (Deli Girls) on vocals, Ryan Easter (Trap Music Orchestra) on trumpet, Ben Shirken (Ex Wiish) on modular synth and electronics, Adam Turay (The Narcotix) on guitar, Kevin Eichenberger (CGI Jesus) on bass and John Bemis (Murderpact) on drums. Gugon Gugon is South Philadelphia’s pre-eminent 6 or 7 piece electric free-improv ensemble.
