Sandwell District headlines Night & Day on October 9. Formed around Regis and Function, the collective became one of the defining techno projects of the late 2000s through a run of records by Function, Regis, Silent Servant and Female defining over a decade of underground sound. More than a decade after ending the project at its peak, Sandwell District returned with album 'End Beginnings', reconnecting its original members and collaborators. Mary Yuzovskaya joins with a vinyl-only practice developed over two decades between Berlin and New York. A former Unter resident, she founded Monday Off in 2017 as an outlet for psychedelic techno and has released through Semantica, Kvalia and her own imprint. Zurich-based Agonis, co-founder of Amenthia Recordings, joins alongside Texas-born, Brooklyn-based producer and DJ Henry Chow and Shaleen, whose vinyl techno sets have lit up Europe. RSVP discount ticket is paid at the door. RSVPs are one per person, so anyone coming with you will need to submit their own. We cut off RSVPs at 11pm, and you'll need to be checked in at the door by that time to receive the discounted rate. Plan to arrive early rather than risk being in line when the clock hits 11.
