Melt returns to Club 1722, this time joined by special guests CalvoMusic and Jacq Jill! From Kade: Most folks in the DMV are no strangers to Baltimore based Jacq Jill. A stalwart DJ and expert curator, JJ has been a steady hand guiding the regional scene for years. A Jacq Jill set is often a real journey and always surprising- their mastery of a wide range of styles and genres is unmatched, and somehow always cohesive. Meanwhile, their bespoke, meticulously crafted events are frequently highlights of the year, often spotlighting eclectic guests and sounds that consistently set the benchmark for dance music in the DMV. They’re one of my all time favorite DJs, a lovely human, and a great friend. CalvoMusic is a true son of Baltimore. With over 15 years of production experience under his belt, Vo has spent a career honing his craft, formulating a sound within Baltimore Club that is both culture defining and wholly unique. Complex rhythms, expressive melodies, and an attentive focus on groove above all else define Calvo, and he manages to make it look easy. Hearing a set from Vo is a chance to understand Baltimore Club in its truest form: fun, energetic, and looking toward the future.
