The last time Lion-S and Hoola played The Downbeat it was a sweaty mess. Lion- S played a vibing tribute set for longterm friend, DJ Dan (RIP) , then Hoola sealed the deal, playing all manner of house, breaks, techno, boogie and electro- and delivering one of the best sets we’ve seen in our space. Lion-S has long been an island favourite and we can’t wait to have her back at The Downbeat. Hoola is one of those rare DJ’s who is your favourite DJ’s favourite, but will also rock whatever crowd is in front of him, honing in to what they are thirsty for in the moment. Rounding out this show will be longtime Shambahla and Living Room collaborator, Leif, who will play a set after Lion-S and then tag with Hoola before Hoola takes it home solo. Opening the night is a fiendish back 2 back set from two of the clubs favourite up and comers, Jurgen Daze and Moodbeach. Don’t be tortured for eternity with the fomo of having missed this bone shaking creature feature.
