La Rumba x Peddler 13th Birthday: Quantic (DJ), TC & The Groove Family + more [FREE ENTRY]

Peddler Warehouse celebrate their 13th birthday in collaboration with La Rumba and other local grassroots crews to program 2 days of incredible, globally diverse music across multiple stages - and it's free entry all weekend.   Headlining Friday night is one of the most influential musicians, producers and DJs, Quantic, who has enchanted fans and tastemakers across the world for nearly two decades.   Under the Quantic banner, Will Holland’s endeavours as a songwriter, musician, producer and sound engineer run deep. From focused solo productions and intimate collaborations to expansive ensemble projects, his reputation is forged on how he engages with local scenes and cultures around the world. Across his 20-years-deep discography it might be honey-coated synths or the natural lilt of live instrumentation that catch your ear, maybe even the arresting performance of a vocalist, but whatever the style on any given record, the Quantic stamp stands for soul-enriching sounds.   Saturday night sees TC & The Groove Family return to Peddler Warehouse after touring the world over since their Sheffield debut with La Rumba back in 2021.  The electric 10-piece collective's music celebrates the coming together of cultures, and the unity that music can provide for everyone. They explore grooves and genres from the UK and around the world, including afrobeat, breakbeat, jungle and highlife. Having gained a reputation in Leeds for a raucous live show bursting with raw energy, the band have played alongside afro-fusion legends K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade and London jazzers Pyjaen and Cykada at shows in Sheffield, Bristol and London.  To build out our lineup across two days, we have an eclectic range of live artists and DJs programmed by La Rumba in Peddler's Warehouse and Courtyard, alongside the venue's 3 other stage, programmed by local grassroots curators. Alongside our 30 musical acts, Peddler hosts 10 street food traders and 6 lovely market stalls - staple to the monthly event. Off the back of the British Street Food Awards Final, Peddler is a real hub for Street Food in the North. Come hungry!
