KIN-TU returns to The Berkeley Suite with four Glasgow-based selectors approaching the club from very different directions. Multidisciplinary DJ and visual artist DIJA is a familiar presence across Glasgow’s clubs and a resident at La Cheetah. Their sets move between Jersey club, hard drums, breaks, bass and club anthems, delivered with the restless energy that has taken her from local basements to festivals and radio stations across the UK. Glasgow and Edinburgh-based producer and DJ leahgte works across trap, amapiano, Jersey club and R&B. Through their productions, edits and work with GTE, they’ve helped create space for sounds and artists still underrepresented within Scotland’s club landscape. Completing the lineup are KIN-TU artist NAMÄN and founder Maveen. Drawing from early rave, NAMÄN’s sets favour raw, euphoric shifts and high-energy selections. Maveen brings the open-ended approach behind KIN-TU, connecting sounds through feeling and purpose rather than fixed genre lines. Four DJs, five hours in the Berkeley basement.
