Innit is a quarterly club series conceptualized by Adie Rae and Nathan Detroit to bring UK bass culture and music to the forefront in PDX, acting as a physical vessel for timeless joy and community resonance. Innit is out here, pushing things forward while upholding the etiquette, vibe and culture of British multicultural communities that brought forth foundational movements (trip hop, dubstep, jungle) that inform modern dance floors worldwide. Innit aims to increase the bass pressure while passing the torch to younger generations: providing a space where peer mentorship, camaraderie, inclusivity and representation are as intertwined and fluent as the music itself.
