-- Infra presents: Anthony Rother (hybrid set), Profiler, & mj. powers -- 10.24.26 | 10PM - 2AM | 21+ // Anthony Rother (hybrid set) // Profiler // mj. powers For this edition of Volts, our series dedicated to electro and the many directions it continues to evolve, we welcome Anthony Rother. The Frankfurt-area producer and live artist has spent nearly three decades helping shape electro’s darker, more futuristic language. From landmark releases including Sex With The Machines and Simulationszeitalter to his long-running Psi49Net imprint, Rother has built an unmistakable world of machine-driven rhythms, dystopian synths, vocoder vocals, and narratives exploring the relationship between technology and society. For this appearance, Rother presents his hybrid set, bringing together DJing, live performance, and his own productions in a format that allows him to reshape the music in real time. Moving through decades of material while maintaining the machine-like precision and futuristic tension at the core of his work, the format offers a direct view into the sound that has made him one of electro’s most influential and enduring figures. Joining him is Infra founder Profiler, whose abstract sonic language moves through tension, precision, restraint, and hypnosis. His sets unfold through subtle shifts in rhythm and texture, gradually drawing the room inward while leaving space for unexpected turns. Also on the night is mj. powers, an NYC-based DJ by way of Boston whose genre-fluid, dance-forward approach carries electro as a constant through-line. Drawn to nightlife through the catharsis and community of the dancefloor, he has developed DJing into a creative outlet that moves freely across the wider spectrum of electronic music. Since relocating to New York, he has also founded SOLVNT, a party built around that same open-ended philosophy, using contrast and movement to take dancers through unexpected territory. Limited capacity. Secure your spot early. 21+ The Lower Level 55 Bishop Allen Drive Cambridge 02139 infrabos.com | @infraboston "Perpetually and unconditionally cultivating underground dance music."
