House Standards: MixmstrStel's Birthday Bash

When the Mixmaster first created his House Standards event at Smoot Standard, he wasn't sure how it would turn out. But the results speak for themselves. First event was an intimate movie. The second event? A true blockbuster PACKING an 80+ capacity venue even for a ticketed event. Can we do it again the third time? Today's dancefloors are dead especially in Boston: Too many phones, too many Boiler Rooms, and too many stages. What if we put the DJ on the second floor balcony overlooking a first floor dancefloor? Smoot Standard is the only cafe, bar, and restaurant in the Boston area that can provide this exact setup and more. Having an elevated second floor provides for a classic layout you won't find in most bars and restaurants. House music was MEANT to be experienced in an environment like this. It's time to SET THE STANDARD AGAIN. I hope to see you all there! **The Event** House Standards returns to set the standard on birthday bashes. You heard that right. The Mixmaster is celebrating his birthday in style with a TWO HOUR headline set. Opening for me is a long time mixshow DJ with a long career spanning Miami for iHeartRadio, Hartford, and here in Boston running the Channel 33 and Circuit House Sessions series of Disco House events. Romulus III brings us the heat from all of these places to warm up the dancefloor before the main event. **Subgenres** This night will feature House music starting from Classic House and going up to Indie House, Tech House, Latin Tech, Minimal, and subgenres in between. **Lineup** MixmstrStel (2 hour BIRTHDAY SET) Romulus III (2 hour OPENING SET) A stacked lineup worthy of setting the standard. **Ticketing Disclaimer** ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The only tickets that will allow you to gain access at any time during the event without restrictions will clearly be marked "Anytime". Tickets marked RSVP will require specific conditions (one of which needs to be satisfied) to be admitted, such as a time (e.g. RSVP arrive before 10:30 PM) or possession of a ticket to an event. If you do not meet any of the conditions marked on the lower priced RSVP, the ticket will not be accepted and you will need to pay a cover at the door. No refunds. Ticketing will be tiered.
