Careful, you might need both hands… Hotplate 005 is approaching hot and steamy. From 12pm on Saturday the 15th of August, the alley and the floors of Solace Bar will transform once again into a community market. Featuring dozens of crates of records, art, clothing, jewellery, food and drink, the day is shaping up to be a wholesome affair of digging and connecting. Soundtracking the afternoon is none other than Mike Gurrieri who will bring his unmatched knowledge and unfettered jocularness. The market closes at 5pm but the music won’t stop for anything. Lexi, Dr. Worm and Dasha will grace the bar and provide comforting and deep tunes for your evening sips. Upstairs will feature sounds of house and techno from local crew of Pins ’N Needles, Bex and Zjoso; expect weirdly comforting tracks that’ll tickle just right. Come real early and stay real late.
