-Deejay Energy- (from Mexico) Francisco Ventura AKA Deejay Energy is a key figure in Mexico City's underground music circuit, with over 15 years of experience as a DJ, promoter, and selector. As co-founder of the 0% collective, he has played a central role in shaping Mexico’s rave landscape, known for his eclectic, high-energy sets that span house, techno, breaks, and leftfield club music without regard for genre orthodoxy. His performances have brought him to global stages including Boiler Room, Rinse FM, The Lot Radio, and Dublab, and to renowned venues such as Tresor (Berlin) Corsica Studios (London), Video Club (Bogotá), Astron Bar (Athens), Forestlimit, Unit, and Kagurane (Tokyo), Paragon (New York), and F8 (San Francisco). He has also performed at festivals like Fascinoma and curated a stage at Bahidorá, two of Latin America's most respected independent music events. In 2025, Deejay Energy was featured as Mix of the Day on Resident Advisor, and has delivered mixes for cult labels such as Crème Organization and TraTraTrax (formerly Insurgentes). He is also curator of HERTZflimmern, a party series produced in collaboration with Goethe-Institut Mexiko, building a cultural bridge between Mexico and Germany through electronic music and exchange. Driven by a deep love for rave culture and sonic exploration, Deejay Energy is a selector’s selector — always unpredictable, always urgent, and always deeply rooted in the dancefloor.
