Descripción
Gray Area heads beneath the K Bridge on Sunday, October 11 with a special open air showcase led by HI-LO, the techno alias of Dutch producer Oliver Heldens, performing an extended set alongside Irish producer Rebūke.
Over the past decade, HI-LO has become one of the defining names in modern techno, pairing Heldens’ studio precision with a heavier club focused sound. His releases have become staples on labels including Drumcode, Filth on Acid, and HILOMATIK, while collaborations with Green Velvet, Armin van Buuren, Eli Brown, Maddix, ZHU, and Kasablanca have expanded the project’s reach across the genre. From Ultra RESISTANCE and CRSSD to Factory 93 and The Warehouse Project, HI-LO has built a reputation for driving sets that balance peak time energy with carefully constructed progression.
Joining him is Rebūke, whose rise from Ireland’s underground circuit has been fueled by records including “Along Came Polly” and the Anyma collaboration “Syren.” With releases spanning Drumcode, Dirtybird, Ministry of Sound, and Afterlife, plus appearances at Sphere Las Vegas, Coachella, Afterlife Barcelona, Zamna Brazil, and Drumsheds, Rebūke has become one of the scene’s most in demand artists.
Running from 2 PM to 9 PM, the extended format gives HI-LO room to explore the full range of the project in one of Brooklyn’s most striking outdoor settings. Set beneath the industrial steel of the K Bridge and along the waterfront, Creekside provides the backdrop for an afternoon built around deep grooves, powerful rhythms, and long form storytelling on the dance floor. More artists will be announced soon.
